Margaret River Senior High School (SHS) is an Independent Public School which is an integral part of the Augusta - Margaret River community. The Role

Margaret River SHS is seeking a passionate and dynamic educator to join our high-performing team. As an Independent Public School, we pride ourselves on a strong culture of academic excellence, collaboration, and innovation in teaching and learning.

We are looking for a teacher who is highly effective at engaging and motivating students by creating a positive, inclusive, and purposeful learning environment. The successful applicant will ideally be skilled in delivering relevant and differentiated educational opportunities that cater to the diverse needs of all learners. Applicants with demonstrated success in teaching English at upper secondary levels, particularly Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) English and/or Literature, are highly regarded.

Eligibility

* hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration .
* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website .
* apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
