Overview
We\'re seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client for a full time permanent position within their finance team. Due to a current vacancy, this role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and support our internal teams in a dynamic, supportive setting.
Key responsibilities
* Managing daily financial processing and supervising junior staff
* Preparing compliance reports and statutory returns
* Leading month-end and year-end closings with reconciliations
* Producing financial reports and providing insights to leadership
* Supporting project funds, grants, and portfolio administration
* Overseeing payments, invoicing, and audit support
* Offering financial advice and support across the organisation
About You
You\'ll bring strong accounting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. Key qualities include:
* Experience in financial controls, reporting, and compliance
* Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy
* CA/CPA qualification or working towards it (advantageous)
* Leadership skills to mentor junior staff
* Excellent communication and confidentiality
