About the Role
This position is a 12‐month fixed‐term contract for a Senior Financial Accountant, responsible for delivering high‐quality financial reporting and supporting a major IT transformation journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the preparation of statutory accounts, year‐end audit, and tax compliance (income tax & FBT).
* Support and strengthen the financial control framework during the IT transformation.
* Perform month‐end close, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
* Own and deliver accurate balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
* Partner with stakeholders to drive accurate accruals and month‐end outcomes.
* Prepare and analyse the 14‐week rolling cash flow forecast.
* Take ownership of the stock accounting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
* Collaborate across Finance (AP, AR, commercial teams, and branches).
* Mentor and support a small team (1 Accountant, 2 Assistant Accountants).
* Drive process improvements and best‐practice financial discipline across divisions.

About You
You're a technically strong accountant who thrives in a fast‐paced, collaborative environment and enjoys improving systems and processes.
Key Requirements
* CA/CPA qualified.
* Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related discipline.
* 5+ years' experience in a similar financial accounting role.
* Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and compliance.
* Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, solutions‐focused approach.
