About the Role
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is the leading platform for running Generative AI workloads, with top companies like Cohere, OpenAI, NVIDIA, Meta, and Mosaic ML relying on it for their LLMs. We're expanding our team in Australia to accelerate AI business growth and need experienced sales professionals to join us.
This role involves identifying organizations that need AI infrastructure for building, training, and inference, leveraging your existing relationships with AI startups and labs in Australia. You'll oversee all aspects of the AI infrastructure Go To Market, from prospecting and engaging key stakeholders to delivering technical pitches and closing deals through strong negotiation skills.
You will collaborate with extended teams across Oracle's ecosystem in Australia, APAC, and globally for market development, pipeline generation, and managing opportunities throughout their lifecycle.
Requirements
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in infrastructure (GPUs, high-performance computing, networking) and a deep understanding of the Generative AI domain (LLMs, tools, frameworks).
* Prior experience selling GPUs, networking, and high-performance computing in the cloud, with a strong background in infrastructure and a robust network of private equity and venture capitalists funding AI startups/labs.
* Proactive sales attitude, knowledge of competitors, and awareness of developments in the AI/Gen AI market are essential.
* Strong technical sales aptitude, motivation to develop a multi-million dollar business, and excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
* A positive, contagious attitude, ability to foster teamwork, and share ideas and best practices are also necessary.
