Job Overview
This role is responsible for the management of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with financial software such as Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage cash flow by processing invoices, receipts and payments in a timely manner.
* Perform regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
* Monitor client payments and follow up on outstanding accounts to minimize delays and ensure timely payment.
* Provide administrative support as needed, including data entry and other tasks related to bookkeeping.
Requirements
* Qualifications: Australian bookkeeping certification and/or experience with financial software such as Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks.
* Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
