**About the Assignment**
This position is responsible for updating and maintenance of all planning activities and processes for the Regulatory Approvals scope of the Barossa project. Provides support for planning and schedule progress measurement to all project personnel (including contractors).
**Core Accountabilities**
- Manage all planning activities for Barossa Regulatory Approvals scope.
- Liaise with Regulatory Approval Manager and Approval Leads to ensure that the schedules and planning tools reflect the latest project scope of work and project execution.
- Working with Lead Planner to prepare deliverables for Project monthly cost and schedule review with Project Director.
- Ensure that agreed processes, procedures, systems, and guidelines are adhered to.
**Tasks include**:
- Support the maintenance and communication of the Regulatory Approvals schedule Level 1 and 2.
- Preparation and maintenance of level 3 Regulatory Approvals schedule.
- Provide weekly and monthly progress updates for allocated packages.
- Support the Regulatory Approval earned value progress curves based on Regulatory Approval package progress.
- Regularly reviews the Regulatory Approval schedules and identify risks and opportunities.
- Perform schedule variance analysis and recommends corrective actions with the respective Manager and Leads.
- Updates schedules in accordance with agreed weekly/monthly processes.
- Support the Lead for preparation of the Monthly planning meeting.
- Participate in weekly and monthly meetings with Scope Owners, guiding the team in all schedule related matters.
- Contribute to the update of monthly planning reports (presentations, reports to management and stakeholders.) for both internal and external purposes.
**This assignment is initially offered for 12 months, engaged via Chandler Macleod.**
**Location for this assignment is Perth working full-time office hours**
**About You**
- Technical qualifications such as trade certificate, related diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Planner in a project environment, Oil and Gas project would be favorable.
- Demonstrated understanding of the project services discipline and scheduling activities.
- Experience in the scheduling program Primavera P6.
- Proficiency in other scheduling programs desirable, such as Milestones Professional and Microsoft Project.
- Experience in schedule analysis and procedures such as:
- Experience and knowledge of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
- Familiarity with performing critical path method (CPM) analysis.
- Schedule development.
- Progress measurement analysis and monitoring.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office software, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated interpersonal/teambuilding skills.
- Analytical/technical skills with a practical approach to problem solving.
- Understanding of state and Commonwealth Regulatory Approvals would be favorable
