Our team works in export establishments across Australia, inspecting meat in beef, lamb and sheep, game, and pork processing facilities in regional areas. We have created numerous roles for Trainee Meat Inspectors across regional Australia, including Victoria, Queensland and New South Wales.
About the Role:
We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and willing to undertake a Certificate 4 in Meat Safety Inspection. As a Trainee Meat Inspector, you will:
* Inspect animal carcasses, meat and meat products to ensure compliance with government and industry standards with respect to quality and health.
* Ensure all compliance requirements of meat inspection are met.
You will work in conjunction with our Process Partners to ensure continued delivery of exceptional products.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you must be:
* Reliable and able to work within a team or individual environment with reporting protocols.
* Physically fit and happy to get a pre-employment medical.
* Able to pass a national police check, as this is a government authorised position.
* Q Fever vaccination is required. If you have not been previously vaccinated, you must be willing to participate in the vaccination process.
Previous experience in related fields such as science disciplines, veterinary or animal science training or similar would be an advantage, but not mandatory.
