Applications are invited for the position of Tractor Operator, based at Council's Inverell Works Centre. The successful applicant shall be responsible for the operation of a tractor and attachments.
Applicants should address the following Selection Criteria:
Essential:
Qualifications
- NSW School Certificate/ Record of School Achievement or equivalent;
- NSW Class MR Drivers Licence;
- Traffic Controller Certificate/ Traffic Control Work Training Card (TCR) or ability and willingness to obtain one;
- Implement Traffic Control Plans Certificate or Traffic Control Work Training Card (IMP);
- SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card ('White Card').
Skills and Experience
- Suitable experience in tractor operation.
Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government (State) Award 2023. The classification for the position will be up to Operational Band 1, Level 2, Grade 3. Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience, and will be in a range from $1,054.57 to $1,119.38 gross per week. In addition, a Level 1 Adverse Working Conditions Allowance of $0.513 per hour will be paid where applicable.
