We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join an established team supporting a major QLD client on an initial 6 month contract, with a high likelihood of extension and potential longer-term opportunities.
We are looking for someone who can commence ASAP and quickly contribute within a fast-paced enterprise environment.
This is a hands-on senior development role focused on modern Microsoft technologies, Azure-based solutions, APIs, application upgrades, and scalable architecture design. You'll work closely with Solution Architects, technical leads, and wider delivery teams to support both ongoing operational improvements and future-state modernisation initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain enterprise applications using modern .NET technologies
* Contribute to application upgrade and Azure modernisation initiatives
* Build REST APIs and microservices-based solutions
* Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated deployments
* Troubleshoot and optimise complex application environments
* Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and technical design discussions
* Collaborate within Agile delivery teams
Qualifications
* 10+ years experience in software development
* Strong experience with C#, .NET, and .NET Core
* Experience delivering applications within Microsoft Azure environments
* Strong REST API and microservices development experience
* Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
* SQL Server development and performance optimisation experience
* Experience with Docker/containerisation and modern deployment practices
* Frontend experience with Angular and TypeScript highly regarded
* Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
