The Opportunity
This role will act as a subject matter expert on commercial pricing algorithms, supporting the integration of pricing into new pricing and policy administration systems as part of a large-scale digital transformation.
You will combine deep technical pricing knowledge with strong stakeholder collaboration, planning and delivery oversight.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a deep understanding of existing commercial rating algorithms and identify current limitations
* Design and specify pricing requirements for new pricing systems, including policy lifecycle considerations, statutory charges and testing requirements
* Support pricing planning and contribute to pricing recommendations
* Collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate translation of pricing requirements
* Support system build, testing and sign-off processes
* Proactively escalate issues and remove delivery blockages
* Partner with broader Pricing teams to enhance pricing data capability and maintain pricing libraries
About You
* Minimum 5 years' experience in General Insurance with strong exposure to end-to-end pricing solutions
* Strong knowledge of Commercial Insurance products and key pricing drivers
* Understanding of IBNR / IBNER, P&Ls, reinsurance structures and statutory charges
* Understanding of policy lifecycle impacts on premium calculations
* Strong planning and time management skills
* Adaptable and comfortable working within a transformation environment
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Fellowship qualification (FIAA) or progress toward Fellowship will be viewed favorably but is not essential for experienced pricing professionals.
