About the Role
Seeking a highly motivated General Manager / Commercial Manager to lead and grow the Personal Care and Home Care division.
This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role focused on developing supplier relationships, identifying market opportunities, and building strong connections across the personal care and home care industries.
The ideal candidate will bring both commercial acumen and technical expertise, along with established networks in the sector, to drive growth and position the business as a trusted partner in the market.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and execute the overall strategy for the Personal Care and Home Care business in ANZ.
* Drive business growth by identifying new suppliers, products, and market opportunities.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and key stakeholders.
* Oversee market analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and customer needs, translating insights into actionable strategies.
* Lead business development initiatives to expand the customer base and increase revenue.
* Provide leadership to the sales and product teams, including guidance on technical support, product training, and market insights.
* Oversee the full product lifecycle, including pricing, positioning, promotional activities, and portfolio management.
* Manage budgets, forecasts, and P&L to ensure financial targets are met.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
* Work closely with internal teams (sales, supply chain, marketing, finance) to ensure operational excellence and commercial success.
About You
* 5+ years' experience in senior management, business development, or sales leadership within personal care, home care, or specialty ingredients.
* Strong industry connections with personal care and home care manufacturers across ANZ.
* Proven track record of leading teams, building and growing business units, and driving revenue.
* Commercially driven with excellent negotiation, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills.
* Technical knowledge of personal care or home care ingredients highly desirable.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and lead from the front.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Chemistry, Formulation Science, Business, or related fields (preferred).
