As a dynamic leader, you will apply advanced nursing practices to plan, implement, and evaluate care in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
In this role, you will provide a supportive environment for all members of the nursing team. Acting as a role model and resource person within the clinical area, you will empower your colleagues to excel in their roles.
Your leadership skills will drive the department's success, complementing the strategic direction, operational processes, and business objectives of the unit and hospital.
A positive attitude, ability to prioritise, delegate, and adapt, along with excellent time management skills are critical for this position.
This key leadership role involves reporting to and working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to achieve organisational goals. During periods of leave, you will relieve the NUM role.

About You
To be successful in this role, you must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in this role is required.
Strong clinical skills are essential for this position.
