Job Description
What does a Maintenance Manager at Warakirri Cropping do?
Oversee maintenance of light vehicles, trucks, tractors, sprayers, harvesters, and farm support equipment.
Ensure timely, professional maintenance in accordance with manufacturers’ requirements, including diagnostics, record-keeping, and providing technical advice.
Manage on-farm workshop and ensure parts availability.
Complete pre-season maintenance.
Attend call outs and assist with spraying, seeding, and harvest operations as needed.
Identify and report health and safety hazards.
Perform other farm duties as required.
Qualifications
Do you recognize yourself in the following?
Experience in agriculture, transport, or earthmoving.
Experience with large-scale plant and equipment operation.
Previous experience as a mechanic or maintenance manager.
Willingness to learn, work safely, and develop skills within a team.
High initiative and self-motivation.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Class MC Driver’s License (preferred).
Current chemical users’ certificate (preferred).
