This role works in the Financial Services Division, ensuring fiscal accountability of juvenile placement funds for youth offenders and prevention services. As a financial liaison, you'll work closely with Youth Court staff, providers, and other branch personnel.
Key responsibilities include analyzing provider payment data, reviewing entries in the Juvenile Court Assessment and Tracking System (JCATS), and assisting with reconciliations. You will also track funding sources, analyze monthly expenses, and provide budget status reports to probation officers.
A key part of this position is providing assistance and instruction on fiscal matters to Chief Probation Officers, as well as maintaining records and performing administrative tasks. This role requires excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Possession of an associate's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance or a related field
* Three years of progressively responsible experience in an accounting or financial field
* Experience in governmental accounting and using SABHRS preferred
