Our client is a vertically integrated mining and civil contractor actively delivering large-scale iron ore projects across Western Australia. With production at full pace on their site, they are now seekingMC Water Cart Operators to join the production team.
About the Role:
You'll be operating MC Water Carts as part of the mining production team, supporting haul road integrity, dust suppression, and operational safety across active mining areas.
Key responsibilities:
- Operate MC-class water carts (road train combinations)
- Conduct dust suppression activities across production and haul road areas
- Work closely with dozers, graders, and dump trucks in a live mining circuit
- Complete pre-start checks, monitor water use, and maintain water flow
- Communicate effectively via radio in production environments
What We're Looking For:
- Current MC Driver's Licence – Essential
- 2+ years' experience operating water carts in a production mining setting
- Proven ability to operate road train combinations safely and efficiently
- Competent in live mining circuits and experienced with mine site protocols
- Solid communication and hazard awareness
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and instant drug & alcohol screening
- Available for immediate FIFO mobilisation from Perth
