About the role
Join the dynamic team at Foot Print (PTY LTD)' as a Lithographic Printing Press Operator. In this full-time position based in Mandurah WA 6210, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining lithographic printing equipment to deliver high-quality printed materials for our clients in the printing and publishing services industry.
What you'll be doing
* Set up, adjust, and operate lithographic printing presses to produce a variety of printed materials, including brochures, magazines, and books
* Monitor print quality and make adjustments to the press as needed to maintain consistent, high-quality output
* Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the printing equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Work closely with the pre-press and post-press teams to ensure a seamless and efficient production process
* Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the printing process and implement appropriate solutions
What we're looking for
* Several years of experience as a lithographic printing press operator, with a strong understanding of the printing process and equipment
* Excellent technical skills and the ability to operate and maintain multi-colour machines
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities
* Good problem-solving and decision-making skills to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
* Familiarity with pre-press and post-press operations, and the ability to work collaboratively with other production team members
* The ability to fill downtime with additional work shop duties such as hands on print finishing and finishing machine operation.
