Till Automotive Group is seeking an experienced, hands-on Financial Controller to join our growing multi-site automotive business.
About the Role:
This is a senior leadership position overseeing all financial and accounting operations across our dealerships, based out of our head office in Breakwater, Geelong. You will be responsible for delivering accurate reporting, driving financial performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement across the business.
About You:
Applicants must have current or recent experience as a Financial Controller within a car dealership or automotive environment. This is essential.
You will bring strong accounting expertise, combined with commercial awareness and the ability to work closely with operational teams.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller in the automotive industry
* Strong knowledge of financial accounting, management accounting, and compliance
* Experience preparing monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and year-end reporting
* Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management expertise
* Strong forensic and analytical skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate an accounts team

* Is hands-on and actively involved in the day-to-day financial operations
* Works closely with department managers to drive performance
* Maintains full control and visibility across all financial aspects of the business
* Can implement systems, controls, and process improvements
