Forklift Operator/Yardman
Toll People are recruiting for a Forklift Driver/Yardman position for our client in East Arm.
Fulltime Casual (with a view to permanent), Monday-Friday 8hrs a day (8am to 4pm) with overtime available. Experience with forklift up to 16t highly desirable.
Job tasks and responsibilities:
* Loading and unloading of trailers and containers with a forklift
* Manual handling will be required
* Following safe operating procedures and complying with company policy.
To be considered for this role applicants must:
* Have a Forklift Licence with at least 2 years' experience and be confident in using a 16 Forklift
* Be able to demonstrate previous experience loading/unloading trailer trucks
* Physically fit to handle repetitive heavy lifting up to 20kgs
* Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
* Be motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to work as part of a team environment
* Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Have a commitment to safe work practices and
* Dangerous goods experience with exposure to Safety and OH&S requirements would be an advantage.
