Job Title: IT Communication Specialist
The IT Communication Specialist will provide expert desktop, network, and Audio Visual (AV) support to end users across various shifts.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver technical assistance for infrastructure, network, and AV issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Travel to regional sites as needed to maintain and support communication systems.
* Install and replace TVs, access points, and other hardware.
* Support wireless and GPON network technologies, as well as PAGA and CCTV systems.
Supported Technologies
* IP Networking (Cisco & others)
* Wireless Networking (Ruckus, Cisco, MicroTik)
* Firewalls
* CCTV, PAGA
* Teleste (MATV/DOCSIS), Calix (GPON)
* DC Power Systems, including DELV
Required Skills and Experience:
* Strong experience in desktop, network, and Audio Visual (AV) support.
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
* Clear and professional written communication skills for documentation and ticketing.
* Ability to work effectively with a user base on varying shift patterns.
* Organised, proactive, and self-driven with a commitment to excellent customer service.
