Job Description
* Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of enterprise‑level forecasting models covering student profiles and revenue, including multi‑year outlooks and scenario analysis to support strategic decision‑making.
* Coordinate and monitor organisation‑wide processes to deliver regular and ad hoc performance reporting, analysing trends against targets across multiple cohorts and dimensions.
* Provide specialist oversight, advice, and issue escalation support to senior analysts and leaders, contributing to disciplined delivery and longer‑term capability planning within the function.
* Monitor changes to external funding mechanisms and policy settings, translating impacts into accurate forecasts, estimates, and forward‑looking insights for internal and government reporting requirements.
* Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights using appropriate visualisation and communication methods, guiding stakeholders on effective data‑driven decision‑making.
* Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to collect, validate, and improve data inputs, driving continuous improvement and increased automation of forecasting and reporting processes.
* Support system enhancements and releases through testing, user acceptance coordination, and assurance activities to ensure integrity, reliability, and stakeholder sign‑off.
* Communicate insights and recommendations with clarity and confidence to senior leaders and governance forums, tailoring messaging to executive and strategic audiences.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Senior FP&A Analyst Should Have
* Significant experience in complex financial, business or student profile modelling and forecasting, with the ability to design and deploy predictive models in large, matrixed or group environments
* CA or CPA qualification highly regarded.
* Strong conceptual and strategic thinking capability, able to analyse complex issues, assess impacts in a wider enterprise context, and translate insights into practical actions.
* Proven ability to analyse, synthesise and control large, complex datasets, converting them into clear, meaningful insights that support sound decision‑making, performance outcomes, and growth.
* Demonstrated success working independently and collaboratively across cross‑functional teams, delivering high‑quality outputs within tight deadlines in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
* Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail, strong systems aptitude, and experience integrating and working with financial management and enterprise data systems.
* Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders and non‑technical audiences.
