ELECTRICIANS & REFRIGERATION - South Hedland
Acelect is an established business which has been operating in Hedland WA for over 18 years and has a broad range of clients. It is currently looking for more Electricians to service its commercial, residential and industrial clients.
About the Role:
The Scope of work is varied and can include in town and out of town work. The requirements include construction, renovations, maintenance, upgrades and audits and commercial work typically of the maintenance, small installations and upgrade nature.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years post trade experience
* Unrestricted WA Electrical Licence required
* Current Manual Driver's Licence
* High Risk Work Licence – Safe Working at Heights (BHP Compliant and refreshed within the last 2 years). Licence must be refreshed every 2 years to comply with industry standard.
* High Risk Work Licence – Boom Type Elevated Work Platform 11 meters or more (WP). This licence must be renewed every 5 years to comply with industry standard.
* High Risk Work Licence – Scissor Lift Elevated Work Platform (SL). This licence must be renewed every 5 years to comply with industry standard.
* Apply First Aid Certificate including CPR & LVR (Apply First Aid to be renewed every 3 years and CPR & LVR to be renewed every 12 months to comply with industry standard.
* WA Compliant Construction Card (White or Blue).
* National Police Clearance (no more than 2 ½ months old).
* Must be fit and healthy and be able to pass Current Pre-Employment Medical – Mining Specs including drug & alcohol, spirometry & audiometry.
* Good working knowledge of current national and WA wiring rules.
* Strong, experienced working knowledge of electrical systems.
* Work with and supervise electrical apprentices when required.
* Good written English including excellent reporting/communication skills on works carried out.
* Safe working practices and attention to detail.
Advantages:
* Dual Trade - Current Refrigeration Handling/Split System Installer Licence with good working knowledge of current national Refrigeration rules.
* Open Cable Registration Licence.
* Supervisory/leading hand experience.
* Local applicants preferred.
* Able to start immediately.
Packages and Options:
* Positions open to FIFO - Ex Perth 12-day roster/9 days off, Ex Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide 19-day roster/9 days off.
* Positions open for LOCALS.
* Options for FULL TIME or CASUAL.
