Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards, Sydney

Hours Per Week: 38

Position Classification: Health Manager Level 2

Remuneration: $109,857.00 - $129,624.00 per annum, plus superannuation and 17.5% leave loading

The Cancer Institute NSW is the NSW Government’s cancer control agency, established to lessen the impact of cancer across the state. What you’ll be doing

Implement and support the design and operation of the Institute's digital communications channels to deliver accurate and timely information about cancer to support the objectives of the Institute.

Remuneration / Benefits

In addition to base salary:

- 12% superannuation
- 4 weeks annual leave (plus 17.5% leave loading)
- 10 days sick leave
- 40 hours per week which include accrual of monthly Allocated Day Off (ADO) x 12 per year

Essential requirements

- Skills and experience with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Photoshop, Illustrator and Office applications.
- Proven experience and understanding of website management and production, digital content development, HTML email campaigns, Google Analytics, SEO monitoring and optimisation.
- Proven experience in digital content creation, writing for web and email campaigns. Copywriting skillset is highly desirable.
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience and training.

1. When developing a new piece of content for a website, there are often considerations around content quality, code implementation, and design presentation. Please explain your priorities when approaching this type of work, and how you balance these elements to deliver an effective result.
2. Digital content needs to serve diverse audiences and communities. Please describe your approach to developing content that is accessible, culturally appropriate, and aligned with best practice standards (e.g. accessibility, plain language, inclusive design).

All Cancer Institute roles are based at St Leonards, Sydney, and candidates are required to be Sydney based.
