The Position
We are seeking an experienced HRIS Business Analyst to partner with People, Payroll, Safety and Operations teams to deliver effective and compliant HRIS solutions. This role focuses on translating business needs into system configurations that support complex, site- and project-based workforce models.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead requirements gathering and workshops to define current and future-state HRIS needs.
* Translate business requirements into functional designs and system configurations.
* Support configuration across core HRIS modules including HCM, Compensation, Absence and Time Tracking.
* Act as lead analyst on HRIS implementations, enhancements and system releases.
* Support reporting, integrations, data validation and reconciliation activities.
* Ensure HRIS solutions meet governance, audit, privacy and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Experience
* 5 - 8+ years' experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise systems.
* Degree in Information Systems, Business or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
* 3+ years' hands-on experience with HRIS platforms.
* Strong understanding of HRIS processes, security concepts and compliance.
Preferred but not essential
* Experience working closely with People teams in complex environments.
* Experience in asset-intensive industries (mining, construction, engineering).
* Exposure to site-based or project-based workforce models.
* Experience with global or multi-country HRIS deployments.
