**Our Client**
This industry leading company based in Sydney's Hills District is seeking a professional Payroll Officer to join their team. This business is passionate about what they do and embrace new approaches to work and learning. This is a permanent full-time opportunity.
**Description**
Reporting to the Payroll Manager your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assist the Payroll Manager with a variety of payroll functions.
- Contribute and collaborate with the greater Finance Team.
- Ensure compliance, accuracy, and integrity of payroll systems to ensure staff are paid correctly.
- Maintain records to substantiate payroll transactions for auditing and compliance.
- Act as the communication link between the organisation, clients, employees, and the industry network.
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of the organisations payroll systems, ADP and Payforce.
- Calculation and payment of payroll liabilities for both State and Federal agencies, including PAYG tax, payroll tax and superannuation.
- Monthly financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Ensure protection of confidential payroll data.
**Profile**
As an ideal applicant, you will have:
- Cert Qualification in Payroll or extensive experience in a medium to large high volume payroll environment (highly desired).
- Experience in Managed services, (Bureau) Payroll's using ADP or similar.
- Previous exposure and use of Time & Attendance systems, Procura or Kronos.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite.
- High level of verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working autonomously and in a team.
- Ability and willingness to embrace change.
- Current National Police Clearance.
- Full Australian Working Rights.
- Current COVID-19 vaccinations.
