About the Role:
This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to take ownership of financial management and reporting across a complex, multi-entity business. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you'll lead a capable team and play a key role in shaping financial processes, governance, and strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and mentoring a finance team across accounting, reporting, and compliance
* Driving continuous improvement of financial controls, policies, and procedures
* Overseeing month-end close, reconciliations, and preparation of statutory and management reports
* Managing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, and providing strategic insights to senior leadership
* Coordinating external audits and tax compliance activities
* Supporting major tenders, acquisitions, and commercial decision-making through robust financial analysis
* Enhancing financial reporting systems and contributing to ERP and process improvement initiatives

Your Profile:
You're an accomplished finance professional with a strong technical foundation and the ability to lead, influence, and deliver results. Strategic yet hands-on, you thrive in dynamic environments and are confident partnering with senior stakeholders to drive performance and improvement.
Key attributes:
* CA or CPA qualified, with a degree in Accounting or a related discipline
* Minimum 5 years' accounting experience within a medium-to-large, complex business
* Proven track record in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement.
* Leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a team
* Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Highly organised, deadline-driven, and solutions-focused
