Culinary Professional
West's is seeking an accomplished Culinary Professional to join our team of food service experts. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional food and customer experiences across our various dining outlets.
About the Role
This position involves the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality food in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment. Key responsibilities include:
1. Completing daily prep tasks as directed by senior chefs
2. Preparing and cooking food to meet quality and presentation standards
3. Following recipes and kitchen procedures
4. Working collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
5. Portion control and dish presentation
6. Assisting with service set up and breakdown
7. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
8. Following food safety guidelines and HACCP standards
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years commercial cooking experience
* Proven ability to develop and execute innovative menu items while adhering to brand standards
* Commercial Cookery Certificate or Diploma is desired
* Diploma of Hospitality Management is desired
* Food Safety Certificate
