Job Title: Geotechnical Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geotechnical Technician to join our team. As a key member of the exploration team, you will be responsible for assisting the geotechnical engineer in ensuring the safe execution of mining activities at the underground mine.
Key Responsibilities:
* Quality control and quality assurance (QA/QC) requirements including ground support storage and installation quality of rock bolts, cables, mesh and fibrecrete.
* Fibrecrete batching, delivery, and application, as well as cable grout mixing and application.
* Performance of QAQC of fibrecrete and cable grout strength testing preparation (on site) and follow up on strength testing results.
* Arrangement and assistance with pull testing of ground support by suppliers.
* Stock level management and conduct installations of seismic sensors and other geotechnical instrumentation as required.
* Active contribution to and execution of continuous improvement projects.
