We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as Lead Infrastructure SME, reporting to the Senior Manager – Design.
A bit about your role
The Lead Infrastructure SME provides expert technical guidance across infrastructure domains, translating requirements into solutions, and delivering CAPEX and OPEX initiatives. Responsibilities include leading design and documentation, mentoring engineers, supporting platform owners, collaborating with internal teams and vendors, driving innovation, peer reviews, contributing to roadmaps, and supporting service transitions. The SME also supports integration design and mentors technical teams.
A bit about you
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in infrastructure, including blade servers, operating systems, storage, backup, clustering, virtualization, scripting, and automation. Hands-on experience with VMware, VRA, VRO, and scripting in Python and Java is essential. Experience with managing integrations, dynamic types in VRO, CI/CD pipelines, container technologies, and business continuity is also required. You should demonstrate proactive, innovative thinking, leadership, problem-solving, and a commitment to safety and organizational policies.
