Key Responsibilities: Operations
* Oversee daily pit activities to ensure safe and efficient production
* Operate and coordinate machinery and equipment as required
* Monitor product quality and assist with sampling
* Maintain compliance with site safety, environmental, and company standards
* Communicate operational needs to management
Team Support and Safety
* Work closely with pit crews to maintain smooth daily operations
* Provide guidance and support to team members on safe work practices
* Review timesheets and leave requests
Maintenance and Housekeeping
* Ensure machinery and equipment are inspected and maintained
* Report equipment issues, production delays, or hazards promptly
* Maintain clean and organised work areas around the pit and plant
What We're Looking For: Experience and Skills
* Previous experience in open quarry or pit operations
* Skilled in operating and supervising mobile and fixed plant equipment
* Good understanding of safety procedures
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Reliable, proactive, and safety‐conscious attitude
