A key position managing the State Office of the Country Women's Association in Tasmania for a person with proven leadership, and management skills and experience.
The Executive Officer will support the State Executive and drive strategic planning that will allow the Association to meet the challenges of a changing technological world.
The State Executive Officer will play a key role in stakeholder engagement and in establishing relationships with government, business and the community sector.
The Successful Applicant will be responsible for:
Managing the day-to-day affairs of the State Office located in Moonah.
Managing the finances of the Association and maintaining membership records.
Development and maintenance of policies to support the organisation and its varied activities.
Support the significant volunteer base which underpins the Association as needed.
The Successful Applicant will have several of the following skills and qualifications:
Strong leadership and business management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including public speaking.
Experience managing finances (preferred).
Strong computer and technical skills.
Working with Vulnerable People Registration (or willingness to obtain).
The Association is open to providing flexible working arrangements in a full time or part time capacity for the right candidate.
