Support Worker Opportunity
We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate support workers to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving their life goals and developing new skills.
Our organization provides opportunities for casual support workers across Metro and Regional Victoria.
As a Support Worker, you will:
* Provide one-on-one assistance tailored to each client's unique needs and preferences.
* Foster positive relationships and open communication with clients, their families, and support team members.
* Assist with transport and mobility to access community events.
* Encourage skill development and social interaction.
* Monitor and document client progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervisor.
* Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients, adhering to our organization's policies and procedures.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Previous experience in disability (preferable).
* NDIS Worker Screening Check, Current Police Check, Working with Children Check.
* Current driver's license, Car Registration, and insurance.
* Current First Aid and CPR training.
* NDIS Orientation Module, NDIS Infection Control Module.
* Cert 4 in Disability or Cert 4 in Individual Support (desirable).
* Commitment to providing exceptional support.
* Great communication skills.
* Medication administrative certificate.
