Programmed are currently recruiting for Disability Support Workers within the Bendigo area. No experience in this industry is needed, if you are after a change of scenery or looking to enter the workforce this may be a position for you. The role may see you working with a participant in their home or from one of our clients' residential support homes. We offer Day and Night shifts, flexible work hours and a competitive pay rate. An average day might see you assisting an individual with meals, showering, dressing and other activities of daily living. The role does not require you to use your personal vehicle to transport participants however you would need a licence as you may be asked to drive a fleet vehicle on occasion.

Our client is a leading boutique not-for-profit disability support service with over 40 years' experience in delivering high quality support services for those with disabilities living within our community. Based in Bendigo they support individuals with NDIS funded support from the beautiful Macedon Ranges, Central Goldfields (Bendigo) and as far north as the Murray River region (Echuca).

**Skills/ Experience**:
- Current 'Provide First Aid' Certificate (HLTAID011) - Previously known as level 2 First Aid.
- The ability to pass pre-employment background checks.
- A current drivers licence.
- Be physically fit as the role may include lifting, bending and the use of lifting aids.
- Display good emotional intelligence E.G motivated, self-aware and confident.
- Resilient and able to overcome adversity.
- Ability to follow processes and procedures.
- Great interpersonal skills with the ability to show empathy and care.
