About Snack Drawer
Snack Drawer is a social-first creative agency established in 2020 that does culture-led strategy, creative, campaigns, content, creators and coverage. In an online environment increasingly shaped by attention decay, there has been an erosion of consumer attention driven by an explosion of content and AI, meaning the majority of communications are served but not seen.
We have the antidote to it; and we call it Well-Earned Attention: ideas at the intersection of social, creative and PR that drive measurable brand growth. Our work is powered by an end‐to‐end production model built for speed, volume and efficiency, and backed by our bespoke strategic framework, Good Sugars.
About the Role
Creators at Snack Drawer aren't traditional agency creatives. We don't split "copywriter vs art director." Our Creators are multi‐skilled and work across projects and campaigns for our clients end to end pitching entertaining ideas, making them, and improving them using platform understanding, algorithms, and analytics.
You're strong with iPhone‐first, lo‐fi production, but capable of levelling up when the idea needs polish. You care about performance and use analytics to iterate.
Key Responsibilities
* Ideate, pitch, shoot, and edit relevant, engaging, timely social content.
* Generate concepts for clients to a standard we can confidently sell in rooms.
* Deliver content to timelines and production realities (brief, budget, logistics).
* Stay across trends, formats, and emerging creators — and translate that into ideas we can use.
* Collaborate in brainstorms and bring ideas with momentum (not just observations).
* Maintain practical craft in Adobe (especially Premiere Pro), plus fast mobile workflows.
* Write push copy with flair + clean spelling/grammar.
* Build moodboards / storyboards / references that clearly sell your thinking.
* Contribute to culture and live Snack Drawer's values (ideas, not ego).
What We're Looking For
We're open on background, but you should demonstrate:
* Strong understanding of internet content (and what drives attention).
* Comfort with analytics, social strategy, and internet production requirements.
* Proficiency in at least one primary craft (e.g., editing, shooting, design, animation, writing, illustration) plus at least one secondary craft you can flex when needed.
* Ability to contribute ideas that are feasible from a brand / production / budget standpoint.
How You'll be Measured (Practical)
* Ideas that get bought, internally and externally.
* Output quality and speed (on‐time, on‐brief, fit‐for‐platform).
* Performance thinking: iteration based on results, not vibes.
* Team contribution: brainstorm energy, collaboration, reliable delivery, adaptability.
The Snackie Values
We live five values day-to-day:
* Embrace the Chaos (we accept in our industry that plans can change at a moment's notice and we adapt and stay calm)
* Follow Your Curiosity (ask questions, keep learning),
* Make It the Best Version of Itself (craft and creative excellence within time and budget constraints),
* Acknowledge the Good (gratitude and recognition, especially when it's busy)
* Don't Be Nice, Be Kind (we have an honest feedback culture that helps people get better and avoid ambiguity).
If this sounds like you and you can do strong work as well as raising the standard of how the team works together, we would love to hear from you.
Snack Drawer actively encourages those of diverse and otherwise marginalised backgrounds to apply.
