We are currently seeking a Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team based in Truganina, Victoria, supporting the maintenance and reliability of our refrigerated trailer fleet.
About the Role
As our In-House Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of refrigerated trailers across our fleet. We operate a range of refrigeration units and trailer types, meaning no two days are the same.
This role is primarily based at our Truganina depot, however you will also support our Ballarat depot, with travel between locations required.
This is a day shift position, offering stability and the opportunity to work within a well-established transport operation.
Key Responsibilities
* Service, diagnose and repair refrigerated trailer units
* Conduct preventative maintenance and fault finding
* Maintain refrigeration systems across a variety of trailer types
* Ensure all work meets safety, compliance and quality standards
* Work closely with the operations and workshop teams to minimise downtime
* Travel between Truganina and Ballarat depots as required
About You
* Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
* Experience working with Carrier, Thermo King or Mitsubishi refrigeration units
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* The ability to work independently and manage your workload
* A strong focus on safety and quality workmanship
Experience in refrigerated road transport will be highly regarded.
