**About the Company**
We have a number of clients in the northern suburbs (Eagle Farm, Hamilton, Hendra) currently seeking temporary Payroll Officers over the next two months, to assist with high work volumes and leave cover.
Our clients offer professional offices and supportive environments, some with on-site parking and others with street-based parking.
The start times vary, but they do require 38 hours per week, worked between Monday to Friday.
**About the Role**
As a Payroll Officer you will prepare and undertake the accurate and timely end-to-end delivery of weekly and fortnightly pay, ensuring that employees receive the correct remuneration:
- Ensure salaries and wages are distributed in line with the EA and applicable Awards, and Employment Contracts;
- Implement roster changes and balance rosters in preparation for the payroll, to ensure remuneration accurately reflects time worked;
- Assist in the design and implementation of enhancements to payroll processes and procedures as required;
- Maintain accurate information in the employee database throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding documents, coding, pay records, leave records, transfers, promotions and terminations;
- Process STP, superannuation, Centrelink, Child Support, WorkCover and fringe benefits as required;
- Deliver high quality and timely customer service to all staff, helping resolve payroll queries;
- Foster and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
