Are you an experienced HC Truck Driver looking for a stable, hands-on role with a respected asphalt company? We're looking for a reliable team player to join our crew, combining driving duties with on-the-ground labouring work to support our asphalt operations. This position is to operate a HR tipper truck with a float attached for transporting plant machinery.
About the Role
* $36.01-$38.15/hr + Applicable penalties
* Monday-Friday
* Plenty of overtime available
* Occasional afternoon/night shifts with associated penalty rates
* Casual position offering weekly pay cycle
* Opportunities for a permanent role for the right candidate.
* Immediate start for the right candidate
Duties include:
* Safely operate an HR tipper truck and float, transporting asphalt and equipment/plant machinery e.g. rollers.
* Assist with loading and unloading equipment/plant machinery.
* Deliver goods and materials to job sites within agreed timelines.
* Adhere to all relevant road traffic laws and company safety policies.
* General labouring duties on an as-needed basis
* Assist the asphalt crew with labouring tasks, including site preparation, shovel work, raking, and general manual duties
What we're looking for
* Valid HC driver's licence
* Demonstrated experience driving HR level vehicles
* Ability to satisfy pre-employment physical assessment including drug and alcohol screening
* Knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
* Strong time management and organisational skills
