The Role
As a Complex Claims Advisor at QGIF you will manage a portfolio of technical/complex common law personal injury claims under the Personal Injuries Proceedings Act 2002, including:
* Medical negligence cases
* General liability (public liability, employment practices, discrimination, defamation, class actions, malicious prosecution, and other tortious claims)
* Sensitive claims involving allegations of historical child abuse lodged against Queensland government agencies
* Litigated files and strategy development to uphold public service excellence
