Shape hiring quality and deliver trusted recruitment support for a leading global brand. High-value contract with room to extend.
Our client
A globally recognised, design-led consumer brand with a strong heritage in quality, innovation and customer experience. With a premium product offering that is leading to some outstanding commercial growth, the organisation is entering a period of hiring momentum and is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Lead to support recruitment delivery and uplift hiring capability across the business.
The role
Initially a 4-month contract (with potential for extension), you'll step into a hands-on Talent Acquisition Lead role that blends delivery, coaching and process improvement. Based in Melbourne's inner suburbs and working in a hybrid model, you'll partner closely with hiring leaders to manage a steady flow of frontline, retail and early-career corporate roles while also contributing to value-add initiatives that strengthen the company's talent approach.
This is an ideal opportunity for a proven recruiter who enjoys balancing operational delivery with meaningful TA uplift work — someone who can move with pace, build trust quickly and bring structure, clarity and consistency to hiring.
Key responsibilities:
* Own and deliver end-to-end recruitment across volume frontline roles and early-career corporate positions.
* Guide hiring managers through best-practice recruitment, ensuring a consistent and positive candidate experience.
* Develop and refine hiring and interview guides to support capability uplift.
* Coach leaders on effective interviewing, assessment and decision-making techniques.
* Contribute to foundational EVP and messaging work that enhances employer brand consistency.
* Build strong relationships across the business, influencing stakeholders with credibility and care.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across the broader TA process.
What you'll bring
* Proven in-house, RPO or general retail recruitment expertise with exposure to volume, frontline and early-career roles.
* Strong stakeholder management skills — confident guiding, coaching and influencing leaders.
* Capability in improving recruitment processes, tools, resources or hiring frameworks.
* Ability to quickly build rapport, assess organisational needs and deliver at pace.
* A professional, polished communication style aligned to a premium consumer brand.
* High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a proactive mindset.
* Comfort working in a hybrid environment and starting in January.

You'll have a strong level of autonomy, access to an engaged people team, and the opportunity to influence how the business attracts and selects talent. With potential for extension, this role offers a meaningful blend of delivery, impact and growth.
