An excellent job share arrangement currently exists for a District Support Officer to join a positive, supportive and close-knit team based in Ballarat. This 12 month fixed term position will provide finance, administration and records management support to the District 15 office, three days per week.
Key responsibilities of this varied role will involve:
1. Customer service both internally and externally
2. Provision of general administrative and office support
3. Preparation of documents that may include letters, memos, presentations, reports, minutes and briefing notes
4. Minute taking, diary management and meeting coordination
5. Providing support at meetings including, organising and scheduling, agenda preparation, venue and catering requirements
6. Records administration
7. Data entry, database and systems coordination
8. Stores duties inclusive of stock management, lifting > 15kg, receipting incoming goods, picking and packing outgoing items, labelling & tracking
9. Liaison with external suppliers to generate quotes etc.
10. Inputting and coordinating stores data using relevant CFA systems (SAP, RMS etc) and providing information from these where requested
11. Accounts payable administration
12. Liaison and communication with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders to ensure an effective service delivery
This is a fantastic opportunity and would suit an all-rounder who enjoys a variety of duties whilst providing exceptional customer service. Attention to detail and a can-do attitude are important as is team-work and commitment.
About You:
To succeed in this position, you will be highly flexible, demonstrating administration experience, with excellent attention to detail and time management skills. You will have experience interacting with people at all levels and be able to work with minimal supervision in a proactive manner. Important to this role will be your MS Office knowledge and your written and verbal communications skills. Some after hours work may be required at times.
