About This Role
We are seeking a Sustainability Project Officer to assist in delivering strategic and operational sustainability objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering sustainability and climate programs across operations and the community.
* Supporting investigations and implementation of water, waste, and energy efficiency initiatives.
* Facilitating collaboration across divisions, government agencies, and the public on environmental matters.
* Supporting management and delivery of sustainability projects, education programs, and behaviour change initiatives.
* Providing administrative and stakeholder support to committees focused on environmental sustainability.
* Assisting in the development of sustainability policies, procedures, and strategies aligned with Ecologically Sustainable Development principles.
Requirements:
Diploma qualifications in Science, Education, Project Management or related fields are essential. Relevant experience in similar roles is necessary.
Strong communication and facilitation skills are required, along with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners is crucial.
A current Driver's Licence is also required for this position.
