Seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This is a fixed-term, two-year contract that involves managing the servicing, repairs, and breakdowns of electric drive trucks and various ancillary machinery. The successful candidate will work a 7 on 7 off rotating day/night roster.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
2. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
3. Troubleshoot and identify technical issues.
4. Work collaboratively with our team and communicate effectively.
5. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
* Previous experience with Komatsu or Liebherr electric drive trucks.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
* Knowledge of diesel engines and heavy equipment systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
