We are seeking a General Manager – Finance to lead the commercial viability, financial performance and governance of the Virtual & Home division.
Reporting to the Divisional CEO and working closely with the Group CFO and executive leaders, this role provides strategic financial leadership, commercial insight and operational analysis to support decision-making, growth and sustainable performance in a complex and evolving healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic financial leadership for the Virtual & Home division, including budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting and financial governance
* Partner with the CEO and senior leaders to deliver commercial insight, evaluate opportunities and support informed decision-making
* Oversee financial controls, risk management and compliance, ensuring strong stewardship and sustainability
* Lead the review and delivery of business cases, capital investments and strategic initiatives
* Drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, value and service performance
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support integrated, innovative models of care
About You
Essential experience
* Senior financial leadership experience (CFO or equivalent), ideally within healthcare, social enterprise or not-for-profit environments
* Proven experience developing and delivering financial strategy in complex service-delivery settings
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level
Key capabilities
* Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Strong commercial judgement and ability to assess financial risk and opportunity
* Outstanding communication skills, able to translate complexity into clear insights
* Resilience, adaptability and comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Commerce
* Postgraduate qualifications (MBA, Finance or similar) highly regarded
* Membership of a relevant professional accounting body
