The Opportunity
This role is suited to a high-performing and commercially minded Senior SDR / BDR who thrives in outbound prospecting, strategic account engagement, and pipeline generation.
You will be responsible for executing structured outreach campaigns, engaging senior stakeholders, and qualifying opportunities using a proven methodology. You will work closely with Business Development Managers and Solution Consultants to accelerate early-stage opportunities and ensure strong handover quality.
This position offers a clear and structured pathway into a Business Development Manager (BDM) role within 6-12 months, making it ideal for someone looking to progress into full-cycle sales.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and execute tailored outreach sequences across phone, email, LinkedIn, and video.
* Drive outbound prospecting activity across a defined ANZ territory and strategic target accounts.
* Multi-thread across accounts, identifying and engaging multiple stakeholders and decision-makers.
* Leverage intent signals and ABM insights to prioritise high-value opportunities and increase conversion rates.
* Identify prospect pain points, decision criteria, key stakeholders, and measurable success metrics.
* Build a strong understanding of the customer's supply chain environment and commercial drivers.
* Deliver clear and detailed opportunity handovers to the BDM team.
Experience & Skills
* 2-4+ years' experience as an SDR/BDR within a high-performance sales environment (SaaS or tech preferred).
* Proven track record of achieving or exceeding outbound and pipeline generation KPIs.
* Strong confidence engaging senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and IT.
* Experience working within ABM frameworks and strategic account-based outreach.
* Familiarity with structured qualification methodologies such as MEDDPICC (highly regarded).
* Strong CRM capability (HubSpot experience highly regarded).
* Exposure to Sales Navigator, 6sense, or intent-based tools (or similar) preferred.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a consultative approach.
