About Your Role
You will work around the North East of Melbourne most days, occasionally travelling to other parts of the city. We're primarily focused on domestic service work but do cover a variety of different work including body corporate maintenance, EV Charging Installations, commercial service work as well as some small domestic & commercial projects. We are constantly pushing into new areas of the trade so your day to day work will always be varied. Strong residential & service work experience is looked on favourably.
You'll receive an extremely organised schedule of jobs via a cloud based job management system (Simpro).
You'll be provided with your own brand new work vehicle and be responsible for managing it. For example - keeping good stock level, staying organised, keeping it neat and tidy and having the right equipment so you can complete each task safely and efficiently.
You'll connect with each customer to ensure you fully understand their requirements and help to give them your professional advice on how to best upgrade their homes or businesses.
You'll stay in regular communication with the team so that the day runs smoothly - We are here to help you perform at your best Good communication is our most valued trait & is key to your success at FabreLEC.
You'll be considered an equal with the entire team from our newest apprentice or work experience student to the director of the company & we expect that you treat your fellow team members the same way. We all have an important role to play and operate on a 'best idea wins' policy.
What You Need To Be Successful
* A current A grade electricians licence
* A current drivers licence
* Strong Domestic Service Work experience
* Your own basic tools and testing equipment (job specific equipment & perishable items such as drill bits will be provided by us)
* A willingness to learn, adapt and improve
* A positive attitude
* Great communication skills
* The ability & desire to train and mentor apprentices
* A focus on safe work practices
* The ability to efficiently use technology in the work place
* Any additional licences/tickets will be looked on favourably but are not essential to the role
