The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy specialising in Paediatrics and Disability to contribute to the development and delivery of contemporary and innovative physiotherapy education. In this leadership role, you will participate in curriculum design, course coordination, and teaching across the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) program, ensuring graduates have strong clinical capability in paediatric and disability practice. You will collaborate with the Discipline Lead, clinical partners, and academic colleagues to embed best practice, evidence-based teaching, and work‐integrated learning opportunities within the program.
You will also contribute to the School's research agenda through a developing research profile, supervision of Honours and postgraduate research students, and collaboration with industry partners. You will support the development of clinical relationships and professional networks that enhance student learning and employability, positioning UniSC as a leader in paediatric and disability physiotherapy education and research.

You will
* Provide academic leadership and deliver high-quality teaching in paediatric and disability physiotherapy, including curriculum development and course coordination.
* Build and maintain strategic clinical and industry partnerships to support work‐integrated learning and graduate readiness for contemporary practice.
* Lead and contribute to research activity in paediatrics and disability, including publication, grant activity, and supervision of Honours and higher degree research students.
About you
You are an experienced and collegial academic with strong expertise in paediatric physiotherapy and disability practice. You bring excellent communication and leadership skills and are committed to inclusive, evidence‐based teaching and developing future‐ready graduates. You thrive in collaborative environments and contribute positively to a supportive, high‐performing academic culture.
You will possess
* Unrestricted current registration to practice physiotherapy in Australia;
* A minimum of five years' clinical experience in paediatric physiotherapy including disability practice, and five years' academic experience teaching paediatric and disability content in an accredited program;
* Completion of a doctoral qualification in a relevant field or equivalent accreditation and standing;
* Demonstrated effectiveness as a teacher with evidence of curriculum development, course coordination, and student outcomes; and
* Evidence of research experience, including publications, research collaboration, and supervision of Honours and HDR candidates.
Desirable
* Postgraduate training or coursework qualification relevant to paediatrics and/or disability;
* Experience working across acute, rehabilitation, and community‐based settings with children and clients with disability; and
* Experience as a clinical educator/supervisor in paediatric and disability physiotherapy.
