The Role
As a Teacher at Eastern Goldfields College, you will ideally bring innovation and creativity to your classroom practices and cater for student diversity. It is highly desirable that our teachers understand instructional and curriculum design, exhibit self‐reflective practices with a focus on quality teaching and are able to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. The successful applicant should possess strong knowledge, understanding and expertise in the context of the science curriculum and pedagogy.
Working in collaboration with the Head of Learning Area, ideally you will lead ongoing improvements in pedagogy, curriculum and programming across Years 11 and 12 and support the Science learning area to achieve set targets in the School Business Plan. We are seeking a highly committed, adaptable and collaborative individual, who is motivated by our school vision and wants to play an active role in driving this vision alongside our talented team of Science Teachers.

Mobility Appointments for Permanent Metropolitan and South West Teachers
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school, may elect to undertake this role as a 3‐year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3‐year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
