We're a fast-growing, well-established private lending business looking for a sharp, commercially-minded Credit Analyst to join our credit and risk team.
This is a high-impact role for someone who understands that credit is about finding ways to settle deals safely, not just finding reasons to say no.
What You'll Be Doing
* Assessing and underwriting private mortgage applications
* Managing the credit lifecycle from initial submission through to final approval
* Evaluating borrower profiles, mortgage statements, and property security
* Collaborating with the sales team to structure deals that meet risk appetite
* Drafting credit papers and presenting recommendations to the GM & Directors
* Streamlining assessment workflows to reduce turnaround times without compromising quality
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in credit analysis in Australia, ideally within private lending or commercial finance
* Strong financial literacy with the ability to "read between the lines" of financial statements
* Sharp eye for risk balanced with a commercial mindset toward deal-making
* Exceptional communication skills to articulate risk decisions to brokers and clients
* Relevant qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field are highly regarded
