We're looking for a commercially minded and customer-focused Senior Marketing Manager to join our North Sydney team. In this fast-paced role, you'll lead merchant marketing efforts and shape how our products reach and resonate with customers across key B2B channels. About The Role
Reporting to the Head of Customer Marketing Channels, you'll drive growth, visibility, and conversion through strategic marketing across our key merchant accounts. You'll be the voice of the customer within our marketing team, creating compelling in-store, digital, and promotional initiatives that support sales and brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute annual marketing activation plans tailored to our merchant partners, focusing on growth, category leadership, and customer experience.
* Translate industry, consumer, and category insights into actionable strategies and recommendations.
* Plan and deliver in-store activities including POS, promotions, digital activation, and events.
* Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to enhance go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
* Create sales tools and customer communications such as pitch decks, promotional assets, and field toolkits.
* Support range reviews, pricing strategies, and tender processes for key accounts.
* Manage marketing budgets, trade calendars, forecasts, and promotional inventory.
* Lead external communications for merchant channels using tools like Dynamics 365.
* Foster collaboration across internal teams and develop a deep understanding of key customer segments.
About You
You will have:
* At least 10 years of experience in Marketing, Key Account, or Category Management roles, with 5+ years in leadership.
* Proven success in B2B and B2C marketing; FMCG or merchant channel experience is highly regarded.
* Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking, with a hands-on approach.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns across in-store and digital channels.
* Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple projects confidently.
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
