About the Role:
The CHS Division of Medicine provides a range of medical specialties and allied health services, emphasizing accessible and timely care delivered to high safety and quality standards. The division is committed to research and training and collaborates with various health professionals and service providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
The CHS Diabetes Service Nutrition team offers individual and group nutrition appointments for people at risk of or with diabetes. The team collaborates with endocrinologists, diabetes educators, podiatrists, social workers, nurses, GPs, and consumers to provide comprehensive care. Services are available across Canberra and southern NSW at the Canberra Hospital and community health centers. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to provide dietary assessments, care planning, counseling, and education programs.
Prior to commencement, successful candidates will be required to:
* Hold current registration under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011.
* Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening, and Vaccination policy.
* Meet CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.
