About the Company
We are an early-stage dental equipment start-up focused on developing next-generation clinical hardware for modern dental practices. The goal is to build high-precision, clinician-driven equipment that meaningfully improves workflow, ergonomics, and clinical outcomes.
The concept is grounded in real-world clinical demand, with direct access to dental practitioners for testing, validation, and early adoption.
The Role
We are seeking a technical co-founder to lead product development from concept to market.
You will work closely with the founder (a practicing dentist) to translate clinical pain points into robust, manufacturable hardware solutions.
This is a true co-founder role — you will have ownership, autonomy, and long-term upside, not a contractor position.
Responsibilities
* Lead technical design and engineering of dental equipment (optical, mechanical, or electro-mechanical systems)
* Develop prototypes and oversee iteration cycles
* Make key decisions around materials, manufacturing methods, and scalability
* Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and regulatory pathways (TGA / ISO eventually)
* Shape the long-term product and technical roadmap
Ideal Background
We are flexible on exact credentials, but strong candidates may have experience in:
* Mechanical / Optical / Biomedical Engineering
* Precision instruments, medical devices, or hardware start-ups
* CAD, prototyping, and manufacturing workflows
* Product development from prototype → production
